- Experience or passion for working with pediatric and school-aged populations
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively on interdisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) based on assessment results, collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and other service providers
- Deliver direct therapy services to a diverse caseload of students, using evidence-based practices
- Track student progress through careful documentation and regular progress reports
- Attend and participate in IEP and team meetings as needed
- Provide consultative support and resources for teachers and staff to foster effective communication in the classroom
