Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Rancho Cucamonga, California
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist serving school-aged students in a vibrant educational setting near Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Two full-time positions are available, both offering structured schedules from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm daily, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. The first opening runs from mid-August through early November 2026, while the second extends through January 2027, with the possibility of an extension, allowing for both short-term impact and longer involvement.
Preferred candidates will possess strong experience in K-12 school environments and demonstrate adaptability to a collaborative, student-focused culture. Please note: applicants must have completed their Clinical Fellowship year.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP-CCC certification
- Active state licensure or eligibility in California
- Recent experience in school-based SLP roles; familiarity with pediatric populations
- Proficiency in assessment, IEP development, and implementation of therapy plans
- Teletherapy experience a plus; comfort with hybrid service models welcomed
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in accordance with IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Develop and update treatment goals based on student progress and educational needs
- Maintain timely and thorough documentation for compliance and reporting
- Engage with educators, administrators, and families to support student achievement
- Participate in staff development sessions and ongoing professional learning
