This contract position covers the academic year from August 21st, 2023, through May 26th, 2024, with a full-time, on-site schedule (Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours each week). The caseload focuses on 38 middle school students with mild to moderate needs, offering you the chance to foster real progress and build meaningful connections.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license issued by ASHA
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFY) eager to grow and learn
- Previous school-based experience is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication challenges in middle school students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Document and track student progress, adapting interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for assigned students
