School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Raeford, North Carolina
Make a meaningful impact supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school levels as a contract Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity offers a full-time schedule, working Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 hours per week. You’ll collaborate within a supportive educational team, utilizing your expertise to help students enhance their communication and language skills—paving the way for their academic success.
This position begins August 13, 2025 and continues through May 27, 2027. The work model is flexible and may involve serving various grade levels based on student needs. Teletherapy professionals are encouraged to apply, with full-time virtual SLP opportunities available.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active North Carolina SLP license required at the time of start; out-of-state candidates considered if eligible for NC licensure by June or July
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in K-12 educational settings is highly preferred
- Comfortable managing caseloads spanning elementary, middle, and high school students
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Open to travel SLPs/Teletherapy SLPs (Voco SLP)
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ unique needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to support student goals
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team processes
- Provide both direct and consultative services as needed, including virtual options
