Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current ASHA CCC-SLP certification, or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Valid state license, or eligibility to obtain, as required for school practice
- Previous experience in pediatric, healthcare, or school settings highly valued
- Demonstrated knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and IEP processes
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a diverse pediatric population within a school setting
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with teachers, families, and other specialists
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments to inform individualized treatment plans
- Develop, maintain, and update IEPs based on students’ needs and progress
- Monitor and document student outcomes, maintaining compliance with federal and state guidelines
- Offer guidance and support to teachers and caregivers to optimize student communication in the classroom
- Serve as an advocate for students, ensuring access to appropriate resources
