Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Previous background in pediatric speech therapy, preferably within a school or healthcare setting
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide direct therapy to students with diverse speech and language needs
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain detailed student records and track progress in alignment with school policies and regulations
- Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and other therapy professionals to optimize student support
- Deliver group and individual interventions, adapting methods to fit each student’s unique learning style
