Step into a dynamic contract opportunity serving K-8 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the greater Boston area. This flexible, part-time role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working with a diverse student population. The district seeks a bilingual (Spanish/English) SLP with current MA SLP-CCC certification, ready to start immediately and support student success through June 2027.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist – Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (required)
  • Experience in schools, pediatrics, teletherapy, or healthcare settings strongly preferred
  • Open to both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and veteran SLPs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience supporting K-8 populations is ideal

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to K-8 students five days per week
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation for student files and Medicaid billing as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Leverage teletherapy technology where appropriate to maximize student access
  • Provide consultative services to teachers and support staff

This contract position averages 20 hours weekly, Monday through Friday. The caseload involves a variety of communication disorders and a culturally diverse student body, making it an excellent role for those passionate about equitable access to services.
