Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid state licensure or the ability to obtain appropriate licensure
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students referred by educators or parents
- Develop individualized treatment and therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services, including both individual and group sessions
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress, and communications as required by the school and regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for intervention strategies
- Offer support and training to teachers and parents to foster students’ ongoing progress
- Adapt techniques and plans to meet a variety of student learning styles and communication challenges
