Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical backgrounds will be considered
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy to students individually and in group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student growth
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and support special education processes
- Offer consultative support and resources to teachers regarding strategies for student inclusion and classroom success
