Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current CCC-SLP certification (ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility to obtain
- Prior experience in a school environment is advantageous
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Capacity for independent work and team collaboration
- Ability to design and deliver effective IEP-based treatment plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with diverse speech and language needs
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists
- Maintain thorough documentation and follow all special education compliance requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development activities
- Stay current with best practices and evidence-based interventions
