Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in school-based environments preferred
- Expertise supporting students with moderate to severe speech and language challenges
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing assignments and student needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to PreK-12 students across multiple school locations
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate supports and align goals
- Adapt therapy methods to suit classroom-based and one-on-one settings
- Document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain accurate records
- Adjust to new schools and caseloads as placements may shift throughout the contract
