Speech Language Pathologist in Quakertown, PA
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students across PreK-12 grades in a dynamic school-based setting. As a Speech-Language Pathologist working on a contract basis, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to enhance communication abilities for students with mild to severe needs. This full-time position spans 35 hours per week and will take you to multiple sites, including Easton, PA and additional locations in the IU region. Flexibility is key, as caseloads and specific assignments will be determined based on current needs.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP or eligibility)
- School-based SLP experience highly preferred
- Ability to support and adapt interventions for students with a range of communication and language disorders, including moderate to severe needs
- Willingness and ability to travel to multiple schools within the assigned region
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Comfortable adapting to changing caseloads and locations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students from preschool through high school
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine individual needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ progress
- Provide consultative support and guidance for instructional staff
- Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation
- Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and participate in IEP teams as needed
