This full-time, contract opportunity spans Easton, Bethlehem, and additional locations throughout the region, working with PreK-12 students with moderate to severe needs. Flexibility is key, as caseloads and school assignments may vary depending on the needs of the district's instructional units.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Pennsylvania SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in a school-based environment highly desired
- Background working with PreK-12 students, including those with moderate to severe communication needs
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Adaptability to work across multiple locations and manage dynamic caseloads
- Collaborative spirit and commitment to supporting student growth in diverse learning environments
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language interventions to eligible students within schools, supporting a broad array of grade levels
- Assess, diagnose, and document communication disorders; develop individualized treatment plans
- Consult with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop strategies that facilitate student progress
- Track measurable goals and maintain thorough, compliant documentation
- Support IEP meetings and contribute expert input on student needs and progress
- Adapt working practices to suit different educational settings and evolving assignments
