Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Pennsylvania SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or eligibility
- Successful completion of background checks required for school settings
- School-based SLP experience preferred, especially with moderate to severe student populations
- Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability; comfort moving between different schools and age groups
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language services to students from PreK through 12th grade
- Complete assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, families, and other school professionals
- Support inclusion and access to curriculum by targeting speech, language, social communication, and augmentative/alternative communication (AAC)
- Travel between designated schools or remain flexible with caseloads and placements as needs arise within the Intermediate Unit
