Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience providing pediatric speech therapy, especially in a school environment, is strongly desired
- Knowledgeable in evaluating and developing treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication difficulties
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, teachers, and families
- Organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing caseload documentation and scheduling
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students requiring speech-language services
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with education teams
- Provide direct therapy services to students in group and one-on-one settings
- Maintain thorough progress notes, document outcomes, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Offer guidance and educational resources to teachers and parents to support home and classroom carryover
- Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration for holistic student support
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations for school-based services
