Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Pawtucket, Rhode Island

What We're Looking For:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) eligibility
- State licensure (or eligibility) for speech-language pathology in Rhode Island
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school environment
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, speech/language assessment, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Compassion, patience, and adaptability to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to help students overcome communication barriers
- Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support each student’s educational journey
- Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide guidance and resources to teachers and families to foster generalization of skills in classroom settings
- Stay current with best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology
