Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Providence, Rhode Island

Required Skills & Experience:
- Valid and active Rhode Island Speech Language Pathologist licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Previous experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare settings as an SLP
- Expertise evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in K-12 students
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Team player comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive therapy practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy for a diverse K-12 caseload
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing assessments
- Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and maintain thorough records
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to maximize student outcomes
- Track progress and provide engaging therapy using evidence-based approaches
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and school-wide initiatives
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal policies
