Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
- Active Rhode Island SLP license
- Valid Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) certification
- School-based experience preferred
- SLPAs are not eligible for this opportunity
Key Details:
- Commitment: Two on-site days per week
- Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- School assignment at a single middle school
- Caseload: Approximately 20 students, offering the ability to make a substantial impact
- Duration: August 26, 2026 – June 11, 2027
- All services provided in-person
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to middle school students, addressing a range of communication needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to promote student growth
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain thorough documentation
- Engage in ongoing progress monitoring and adjust intervention plans as needed
