Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP license for Virginia, or eligibility for licensure
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials accepted
- Experience working in a school setting strongly preferred
- Skilled in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a range of speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged populations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and attend multidisciplinary team meetings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Develop individualized treatment plans and deliver direct therapy services to address students' unique needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers to support student success in the classroom
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress reports, and IEP-related paperwork
- Support students in achieving educational goals and participate in eligibility and annual review meetings
