Elementary Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Alexandria, VA
Make a meaningful impact supporting students across elementary and middle school settings as a contract-based Speech Language Pathologist. This full-time opportunity near Alexandria, VA, focuses on providing essential pediatric speech and language services, collaborating closely within a school environment. Professionals holding their CCCs are preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) will also be considered for part-time roles. You’ll work with an average caseload alongside a team deeply committed to student growth.
Qualifications:
- Active Virginia SLP license required
- Experience working in elementary and/or middle schools
- Strong background in pediatric speech and language services
- School-based experience essential
- ASHA CCCs preferred; Clinical Fellows considered for part-time
- No DOE credential required
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to students
- Complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to overall student success
- Engage in professional communication with faculty and student families
