This full-time, in-person contract position offers an opportunity to utilize your expertise alongside educational teams, serving a diverse student population.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Washington state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior experience working in a school setting is strongly preferred
- Ability to work in-person for the entire academic year; SLPA or virtual models will not be considered
- Familiarity with K-12 educational environments is advantageous
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to K-12 students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Perform assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with state and district requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress
- Document services and progress, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Deliver direct therapy and monitor student outcomes over the school year
- Adapt interventions to serve varying student needs within a dynamic educational environment
