Make a meaningful difference in the lives of K-12 students as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting communication development for the upcoming academic year. This full-time, in-person contract position offers an opportunity to utilize your expertise alongside educational teams, serving a diverse student population.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Washington state
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Prior experience working in a school setting is strongly preferred
  • Ability to work in-person for the entire academic year; SLPA or virtual models will not be considered
  • Familiarity with K-12 educational environments is advantageous
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to K-12 students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Perform assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with state and district requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress
  • Document services and progress, and participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Deliver direct therapy and monitor student outcomes over the school year
  • Adapt interventions to serve varying student needs within a dynamic educational environment
