Key qualifications:

  • Active SLP-CCC and Washington State SLP license
  • Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification
  • OSPI fingerprint clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience (or strong interest) in school-based settings across K-12
  • Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a caseload that may range from 48-60 students

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy to a diverse caseload of K-12 students
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to positive school culture
  • Commit to full-time, in-person engagement, with a 7.5-hour workday and 37.5-hour workweek
