Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid ESA certificate and Washington state SLP license
- Completion of OSPI fingerprinting prior to start
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to independently manage caseloads of 48–60 students, K–12
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech, language, and communication needs of K-12 students
- Develop and implement individual treatment plans in alignment with IEP requirements
- Deliver therapy services—articulation, language, fluency, and social communication—within school settings
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress reports, and compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
- Adapt strategies for varying caseload sizes and student needs
