School Speech Language Pathologist - Tacoma, Washington

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP) with CCC certification required
- Previous experience in school settings, especially with high school students, is highly valued
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to tailor intervention strategies to individual student needs
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
- Passion for helping adolescents achieve their communication goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy for a caseload of approximately 50 high school students
- Conduct assessments, write reports, and collaborate in IEP meetings
- Develop and implement treatment plans addressing speech, language, and communication disorders
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support each student’s growth
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and maintain compliance with school and federal guidelines
- Foster an inclusive, encouraging environment where students can thrive
