School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Kent, Washington

Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license for Washington State
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Washington Teaching Certification (or willingness to obtain, if required)
- Demonstrated experience working within school settings, preferably with high school age students
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in high school students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct therapy services onsite, adapting interventions to fit student needs and goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress, and outcomes
- Participate in parent meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development as required
- Serve as a resource to other educators and staff for effective communication strategies and supports
