School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Yelm, Washington

This contract opportunity, located near Yelm, WA, is for the full 2026-2027 school year, with four part-time positions available. Professionals in this role work directly onsite, interacting face-to-face with students and collaborating with teachers and other staff.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and comfort working independently with a diverse student population
- Ability to manage a caseload of 45-50 students efficiently
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students according to their IEPs
- Conduct initial evaluations, reassessments, and progress monitoring
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation of student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams on student needs and interventions
- Create individualized goals and monitor outcomes for students on the caseload
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for best student outcomes
Position Details:
- Four part-time positions open
- Each position is for 7.5 hours per week, onsite only (no remote or hybrid)
- Support for a caseload of 45-50 students throughout the academic year
