This onsite opportunity allows you to work closely with a dedicated educational team, supporting student success through targeted speech and language interventions.
Required Qualifications:
- Current WA State Speech Language Pathologist license
- SLP-CCC certification
- (Or willingness to obtain) Washington Teaching Certificate
- Previous experience in school-based speech therapy is highly valued
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech/language therapy to high school students
- Conduct assessments and interpret results for eligibility and progress monitoring
- Develop IEP goals, attend meetings, and maintain detailed documentation
- Collaborate with teachers and special education professionals to support student learning
- Engage and communicate with families regarding student progress and strategies for success
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up to date with best practices
