Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active WA SLP License (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- WA Teaching Certificate may be needed
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to high school students
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development
- Maintain thorough records in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to help shape students’ educational experiences
