Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience in school settings and/or pediatric healthcare environments
- Comfortable delivering therapy services in-person and via remote platforms
- Strong collaboration skills with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Provide evidence-based speech, language, and communication interventions for children with diverse needs
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed for optimal outcomes
- Engage in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to team-based student support
- Offer teletherapy services as needed, utilizing best practices to ensure effectiveness remotely
- Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of skills across settings
