Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active SLP state license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Previous experience in school-based settings or pediatrics preferred.
- Competency in providing therapy through digital telepractice platforms as well as in-person.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Passion for helping students reach their communication goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality speech and language assessments, therapy, and intervention planning for a diverse group of students.
- Work closely with teachers, special education staff, families, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and document all sessions in compliance with school and state requirements.
- Offer consultative support and coaching to staff and family members to reinforce student growth.
- Adapt therapy approaches to fit individual student needs using evidence-based practices, both in-person and via teletherapy.
