Step into a dynamic contract position as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working 35 hours a week with a vibrant elementary student community. Desired Background & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid state licensure for speech-language pathology
- School-based experience preferred, especially with elementary-aged children
- Grasp of moderate articulation interventions and best practices
- Strong collaborative spirit for working alongside an SLPA
Primary Duties:
- Conduct speech, language, and articulation assessments for assigned students
- Develop and implement IEPs targeting communication goals
- Deliver direct therapy in individual and group settings within the elementary environment
- Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and the onsite SLPA to maximize student progress
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress toward IEP objectives
- Participate in eligibility, progress, and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
- Stay up-to-date with professional development relevant to school-based speech services
