Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Valid SLP licensure in Texas, or eligibility for licensure
- Previous school-based experience is preferred, though not required
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations for students referred for speech/language concerns
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group, aligned with students’ IEPs
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings with parents and school staff
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support the educational success of each student
