Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Pittsford, NY
Make an impact supporting students across grade levels with a contract opportunity dedicated to Speech-Language Pathology services. This role is based near Henrietta, NY and offers the chance to work within a school setting for the full academic year, September 2026 through June 2027, with a consistent 35-hour workweek. Preferred Background and Qualifications:
- Valid NY SLP license required
- Experience in pediatric and school-based SLP settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms
- Comfort working with a K-12 student population
- Open to SLP-CFY candidates
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and environments
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess speech, language, and communication disorders for assigned students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapy sessions individually or in groups, both in-person and, as needed, via teletherapy
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student outcomes
- Maintain and document progress notes, IEPs, and relevant reports
- Participate in school meetings and multidisciplinary teams
- Support a positive, inclusive school environment
