Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Henrietta, New York
Step into a rewarding contract role supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Henrietta, NY area for the 2026–2027 school year. Two dedicated professionals will be welcomed to join a collaborative, supportive environment, working onsite 35 hours each week. Preferred experience includes proficiency in pediatric speech therapy, school-based SLP practices, teletherapy modalities, and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for early career clinicians. You'll work with students across a wide age range and grade levels, tailoring your therapeutic approach to diverse and evolving caseload needs. Although specific caseload assignments will be finalized closer to the start date, adaptability and a student-centered mindset are essential.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the state of New York
- Experience in schools or pediatric SLP settings
- Comfortable with teletherapy and in-person modalities
- Interest in working with K-12 students across various abilities and needs
- Strong collaboration skills and flexibility as schedules and caseloads are assigned
- Recent graduates in their Clinical Fellowship Year are encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, therapy, and intervention in accordance with IEP requirements
- Collaborate with educators, families, and colleagues to foster student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation of student services and progress
- Flexibly transition between in-person and teletherapy models as needed
