Ideal Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Experience with IEP process and documentation
- Ability to adapt to various caseloads or settings within the school environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Maintain compliance with school, district, and state requirements for documentation and reporting
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support students’ goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and make recommendations based on student needs
- Provide both direct and consultative services, adapting interventions as needed
