Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Pittsburg, California

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Valid state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience working in pediatric and school-based settings preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and best practices for K-8 student populations
- Strong communication and organizational skills; able to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students TK-8
- Develop, implement, and update individualized therapy plans and IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services within classroom and pull-out settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams for optimal student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in accordance with school and legal standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support strategies
