Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) are also encouraged to apply
- Experience or strong interest in pediatrics and school-based caseloads
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, educators, and families
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from diverse backgrounds
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to support student progress and inclusion
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-based team activities
- Provide guidance and support for students transitioning between grade levels
