Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current or eligible Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working in pediatric or school-based settings, or a strong interest in serving this population
- Knowledge of IEP development and familiarity with the special education process
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in accordance with federal and state guidelines
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and set measurable therapy goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educators to support student progress and generalize skills
- Document progress, attend IEP meetings, and maintain accurate records as required
- Stay updated on best practices through continuing education and professional development
