Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
- Current California SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) are also encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school-based pediatric setting highly valued
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to collaborative work with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
What You'll Do:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in TK-8 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Provide push-in and pull-out therapy, adapting interventions to meet varied learning needs
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Educate and consult with school personnel and parents regarding support strategies and accommodations
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive campus culture
