Desired Skills and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC or eligibility for CFY)
- Ability to work effectively with students from TK through grade 8
- Experience in school-based settings and comfort with pediatric caseloads
- Collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities to manage IEPs and maintain documentation
- Passion for making a positive impact in the lives of children and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to students, targeting receptive and expressive language, articulation, fluency, voice, and social communication
- Conduct assessments and develop personalized educational plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain precise records, prepare progress reports, and attend relevant meetings
- Guide students as they build confidence and independence in their communication
- Offer mentorship and support to CFY candidates, if applicable
