Desired Skills and Experience:
- Current SLP license and credential in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience or strong interest working with pediatric/elementary and middle school populations
- Familiarity with IEP development and participation
- Knowledge of school-based speech therapy protocols and assessments
- Strong collaboration, organizational, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to TK-8 students
- Assess, diagnose, and document speech/language disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress
- Attend and contribute to IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate records that comply with school and state standards
