Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP state licensure or eligibility in California
- Experience in school-based pediatric settings, including SLP – CCC, SLP – CFY, or equivalent
- Familiarity with IEP processes and best practices for educational settings
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Passion for working with TK-8 student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose communication disorders; develop and implement targeted treatment plans for students across transitional kindergarten to 8th grade
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and progress updates
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with educators, families, and school support staff to best meet students’ needs
- Maintain thorough documentation consistent with school and state requirements
