Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Department of Education SLP license is required
- Accepting candidates with CCC or those completing CFY
- Experience in a school-based environment preferred, though strong clinical backgrounds are also considered
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple grade levels
- Strong organizational skills, with flexibility to adapt to changing needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students, adhering to IEPs and district policies
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for a range of speech and language disorders
- Document progress, maintain detailed records, and prepare reports for meetings with staff and families
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and administrators to support student learning and access
- Participate in multidisciplinary and IEP team meetings, offering insight and guidance
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
