Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Phoenix, AZ

This contract position offers you an opportunity to work collaboratively across two schools, with specialized SLPA support at each campus, and a caseload focused on elementary or middle school students. The team is seeking experienced and early-career professionals to provide consistent, in-person care—stepping in to fill the gap left by recent virtual and hybrid staff departures.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Hold a valid Arizona Speech-Language Pathology license and current fingerprint clearance card (FP card)
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based SLP practice
- Open to SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY candidates; district supervision provided for CFYs
- Familiarity with managing school-based caseloads, including both elementary and middle school age groups
- Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, SLPAs, and parents
- Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Serve two assigned schools, supporting students at both elementary and/or middle school levels
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop customized treatment plans and coordinate with teachers and SLPAs
- Attend IEP meetings, contribute to student progress evaluations, and maintain accurate records
- Provide support and guidance tailored to students' developmental stages and educational needs
- Participate in regular school-based supervision and professional development
