ProCare Therapy is looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join a school team in Philadelphia, PA!
Position Overview:
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 35 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: June 11, 2027, unless makeup days are needed
Setting: School-based
Caseload: Approximately 25–40 students, ages 3–21
Pay: $50/hr+ based on experience
What You’ll Be Doing:
Provide direct, consultative, and group speech-language services
Support students with visual, cognitive, medical, and orthopedic needs
Focus on functional communication, independence, and daily living skills
Work with students who are primarily non-verbal
Develop and implement AAC systems, including eye gaze, picture communication, tactile communication, and low-tech devices
Integrate communication strategies into students’ daily routines
Collaborate with teachers, families, and other members of the educational team
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Pennsylvania SLP licensure
ASHA CCCs preferred; CFs may be considered
Experience with AAC and complex communication needs is a plus
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
