Step into an engaging opportunity supporting young learners through itinerant speech-language services in Carbon or Lehigh County. This contract role focuses on providing vital interventions to preschool-aged children as part of a dedicated Early Intervention team. The assignment is designed for enthusiastic SLP Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) eager to make a meaningful difference and gain hands-on experience in diverse educational settings. Flexibility is key, as your caseload may shift to include school-age students (PreK–12) throughout the academic year.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active provisional or temporary PA SLP License (required)
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience or strong interest in early childhood speech-language services
- Willingness to travel within Carbon or Lehigh County for itinerant services
- Adaptability for potential caseload changes spanning PreK–Grade 12
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Reliable transportation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person speech-language therapy in preschool Early Intervention programs
- Assess communication skills and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy sessions and consult with families and teachers
- Uphold thorough documentation and progress monitoring
- Adjust service delivery to meet evolving caseload requirements during the school year
- Collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team
As part of this role, you’ll enjoy a consistent weekday schedule—35 hours per week—aligned with the Early Intervention calendar and school year. Placement runs from early July 2026 through June 2027 (tentative dates). You'll be a valued contributor helping children achieve new communication milestones and preparing them for classroom success.
