School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Nazareth, Pennsylvania

Make a meaningful impact on young learners by providing essential early intervention speech therapy services across Carbon and Lehigh County. This contract role is designed for SLP Clinical Fellows, offering dedicated support to preschool-aged students with itinerant services. Throughout the school year, you may also have the opportunity to work with students from PreK through 12th grade, making flexibility and a broad skill set vital. Assignments run 35 hours per week, following a year-round Early Intervention calendar from July 6, 2026, through June 11, 2027 (dates tentative).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active provisional or temporary Pennsylvania SLP license required.
- Eligibility for SLP Clinical Fellowship (CFY).
- Experience or strong interest in early childhood education and speech-language pathology in school settings.
- Commitment to in-person services, with the ability to travel within Carbon and Lehigh counties.
- Flexibility to adapt to assignment changes during the school year, possibly transitioning from preschool to school-aged caseloads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide itinerant speech-language therapy services to preschool students as part of early intervention programs.
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and related service providers to create individualized therapy plans.
- Monitor student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and adapt approaches as needed.
- Serve as an advocate for communication access and student well-being across varied educational settings.
