School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Allentown, Pennsylvania

This contract opportunity offers the chance to support early intervention initiatives throughout Carbon or Lehigh County. As part of a dedicated itinerant team, you'll engage with diverse student populations and collaborate closely with educators and families across multiple sites.
Your primary focus will be on itinerant services within preschool early intervention, with the flexibility to provide support to school-age students (PreK–12) should assignments shift throughout the academic year. This position requires in-person service and follows a 35-hour workweek, aligning with the Early Intervention calendar year round. The assignment is tentatively set from July 6, 2026, through June 11, 2027.
Ideal applicants will bring strong clinical skills, a passion for supporting children’s communication development, and adaptability across a range of school settings and age groups.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active provisional or temporary Pennsylvania SLP license (documentation required).
- Experience or coursework in pediatric speech-language pathology—CFY candidates welcome.
- Flexibility to serve both preschool and school-age caseloads as assignments change.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and young children.
- Reliable transportation for itinerant assignments across Carbon and/or Lehigh County.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy in compliance with students’ individualized plans.
- Conduct assessments and monitor progress for preschool and, as needed, school-age students.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate records and participate in team meetings.
