Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity serving preschool children as a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) in Carbon or Lehigh County. Provide essential early intervention services while gaining invaluable hands-on experience in a supportive educational setting. This role offers a diverse caseload with the potential to work with PreK through 12th grade, perfect for those eager to broaden their skillset and flexibility throughout the school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Active provisional or temporary Pennsylvania SLP license required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or in progress for CFY eligibility)
- Experience or strong interest in school-based/preschool intervention services
- Ability to adapt to changing caseloads, serving students from PreK to 12th grade
- Reliable transportation for itinerant assignments within Carbon or Lehigh County
- Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Must be available for in-person work only
Responsibilities:
- Deliver itinerant SLP services to preschool children, with possible caseload changes during the school year to school-aged students
- Assess students’ speech and language abilities and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Implement targeted therapy plans, track progress, and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations
- Collaborate closely with other educators, therapists, and families for optimal student outcomes
- Participate in meetings, training, and professional development as required
This contract spans from July 2026 through June 2027, following the Early Intervention calendar (subject to school year adjustments). With a schedule of 35 hours weekly, you’ll interact with diverse students while expanding your expertise in school-based therapy.
