Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Current state licensure or eligibility
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within a school environment
- Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
- Flexibility, adaptability, and enthusiasm for partnering with educational staff and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K–12 students
- Develop targeted, individualized plans of care
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and support the creation of IEPs
- Coordinate with teachers, administrators, and families to facilitate student success
- Provide guidance and support to fellow staff and participate in team meetings
- Encourage students’ academic and personal growth through effective intervention strategies
