A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist seeking a rewarding school-based assignment for the 2026-2027 academic year. As the dedicated SLP for this school community, you will manage a caseload of approximately 70 students across pre-kindergarten through 5th grade. The role involves working with students with varying exceptionalities, delivering services in both ESE classroom environments and general education settings for optimal support. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends to the end of May 2027.
Qualifications:
- Current or eligible Speech-Language Pathology license in Florida
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility including CFY candidates
- Experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP roles preferred
- Familiarity supporting students with diverse learning and communication needs
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services within both ESE and general education classes
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
