Speech Language Pathologist (K-8th)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school team serving students in grades K–8 for the 26/27 school year. This full-time, on-site opportunity offers a manageable caseload and the chance to work closely with students who utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems.
The district is seeking an in-person clinician who can provide direct services and collaborate effectively with school staff and families.
Position Details
Full-Time Schedule: 35 hours per week
Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Single school site assignment
Caseload of approximately 35–40 students
On-site services required
Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) is required
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Open to new grad SLP-CF, as long as paired with experience SLP-CCC
Responsibilities
Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students
Support and implement AAC systems and communication strategies
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
