Ideal Experience & Qualifications:
- Hold a current CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Active state licensure in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain one
- Prior experience supporting students in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred
- Solid understanding of implementing IEPs and comprehensive speech/language interventions
- Ability to work confidently with students with low incidence needs
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language assessments and design individualized treatment plans for students within the Low Incidence Program at the Marple Education Center
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective strategies for student success
- Deliver direct therapy services 3-4 days per week, ensuring consistent support for students’ speech and language development
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with families and staff
- Offer guidance and resources for communication development across diverse student populations
