Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Valid state license or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
- Experience in school-based speech therapy preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group therapy services to students with communication, articulation, language, fluency, and voice needs
- Complete comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to address students’ IEP goals
- Document student progress, attendance, and outcome measures in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP development, and school initiatives
- Provide resources and strategies to staff and families for reinforcing speech-language development
